SEATTLE, WA, July 11, 2014 (Space Angels PR) – Space Angels Network will be hosting an exclusive Members’ Expedition in Southern California, from Wednesday, September 10th to Friday, September 12th, 2014.
The Expedition will include tours of launch, space vehicle, propulsion, flight test, and other space companies in Los Angeles and Mojave. As part of the program, there will also be two aerospace investment panels, a visit to the Space Shuttle Endeavor, and a group hike overlooking the Mojave Space Port. This event is offered only to Space Angels Network members and select guests.

As a Sponsor of the competition, Space Angels Network members contributed to the screening, coaching and judging of the business plans. As the winner of the competition, Generation Orbit will now have the opportunity to present to the members of Space Angels Network in December to build on the company’s success and potentially attract new investors.

Local angels looking to help fund the right startups Washington Business Journal
Despite the bad [economic] news, 16 Washington-area angels turned out Jan. 30 to assess the investment opportunities presented by Leesburg-based Space Angels Network LLC at the office of law firm Morrison and Foerster LLP in McLean.
Ken Murphy at Out of the Cradle has an interesting Q&A interview with attorney James E. Dunstan, who is a partner with Garvey, Schubert and Barer in Washington D.C. Dunstan, whose practice focuses on space law and entrepreneurial companies, had some interesting things to say about angel investors who fund start-ups.
The Space Angels Network is holding its next Aerospace Venture Forum on Saturday, January 30 at Morrison & Foerster in McLean, VA. The event will bring together entrepreneurial companies and venture capitalists.
