If SX is using all “used” cores in a risk reduction scheme, another milestone of program maturity is reached. Bring on the fast and furious applications… never really to be ho-hum…. but, nuts active/productive compared to the sluggardly SLS. To right not a fair comparison- meh!

  • Mr Snarky Answer

not about risk reduction as much as time and money. This is what happens when you are aggressively pursuing something. The alternative is 9 years into development and still can’t weld your tank together reliably.

    …its hour come at last.

[Still, not sure you should be quoting from a poem with the line, “The falcon cannot hear the falconer; things fall apart, the centre cannot hold.”]

Yes, Yeats does read a bit as though he was recently laid off by a legacy aerospace contractor.

Hopefully, this is the year that SX really comes together. We are looking at increasing re-use of their first stage, FH in another 3 months or so, Block 5 around Sept, and then HOPEFULLY, Dragon V2 in Oct.
If they really can accomplish this, then all that remains is the finishing up of Dragon V2.
