Sanford will join the CSF staff on October 1 and, among other duties, will be responsible for government affairs for the organization under incoming CSF President Eric Stallmer.

Sanford has extensive experience in the aerospace sector including his recent position as Government Affairs Associate at the Space Foundation, where he was responsible for analyzing and implementing policy strategies in the aerospace, defense, and international arenas.
