MOSCOW, Aug. 7, 2014 (Khrunichev PR) — Andrey Kalinovsky, the former First Vice President of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) has been appointed acting director general of the Khrunichev State Space Research and Production Center (KhSC).
Andrey Kalinovsky succeeds Alexander Seliverstov, who served as the Director General of KhSC from October 2012 through August 2014.
Alexander Seliverstov will join the United Rocket and Space Corporation (URSC) later this month as vice president for space launch vehicle production.
Andrey Kalinovsky Biography
Andrey Kalinovsky was born on 28 September 1963.
In 1972, Andrey Kalinovsky graduated from the Bauman Moscow Sate Technical University holding a degree in robot systems (qualification – Electromechanics Engineer).
Mr Kalinovsky was the General Director of Novosibirsk Aircraft Production Association (named after Chkalov NAPO, Subsidiary of Sukhoi) since July 2007 through May 2011. During this period he implemented the modernization and upgrade of the production facilities together with personnel advanced training at NAPO in order to comply with the international production standards.
He was appointed First Vice President of Production with SCAC -Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Director of SCAC Komsomolsk-on-Amur Branch in May 2011.
Mr. Kalinovsky has been the acting director general of the Khrunichev Space Center since 7th August 2014.
