SpaceShipTwo completed another glide flight this morning. Pilots Mackay & Stucky demonstrated SS2’s unique feather mechanism. Great flight!

Editor’s Note: This sounds like another training flight to get Virgin Galactic Chief Pilot David Mackay up to speed on flying SpaceShipTwo. They conducted a pilot training glide flight two weeks ago with Mackay aboard.
SpaceShipTwo was spotted outside last night attached to its WhiteKnightTwo mother ship without a rocket engine nozzle attached. Scaled employees were also seen moving an engine around the spaceport under a tarp earlier this week.
So, rumors of another engine test with SpaceShipTwo this week appear to be incorrect. If they are doing anything with the engine, it’s probably another static hot fire on the test stand. However, there have been no reports of such tests this week.
