Generation Orbit Welcomes Max Vozoff as Senior Business Strategist

go2-climbAtlanta, GA, 1 July 2013 (GO PR) — Generation Orbit Launch Services, Inc. (GO) is pleased to welcome Mr. Max Vozoff to the GO team as Senior Business Strategist. In this capacity, Mr. Vozoff will aid in the organization of business development, technical innovation, and risk management strategies. As GO moves forward with development of its GOLauncher 1 and GOLauncher 2 launch vehicles for small payloads, expansion of strategic relationships across the industry value chain will be key in guiding the organization’s success.

Mr. Vozoff has over 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry including NASA, commercial space, and private consulting. As a Senior Systems Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he contributed to a number of missions and technology development programs including GRACE, Jason, COSMIC, ST3/Starlight, ST5, OSTM, and UAVSAR.

From 2005 through 2010, Mr. Vozoff served as a Senior Mission Manager, Dragon Product Manager, and Director of Civil Business Development at SpaceX. He led SpaceX’s successful proposal efforts for NASA’s COTS and CRS ISS programs worth over $1.8B. Further, Mr. Vozoff conceived and marketed “DragonLab,” a free-flying application of the Dragon spacecraft for scientific research, in-space technology development, and educational missions.

Mr. Vozoff holds a MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a BS in Electrical & Communications Engineering from Curtin University of Technology.
