Global Space Presentations from Space Access 2013

I teamed up with Clark Lindsey of NewSpace Watch during the recent Space Access Conference to provide an overview of commercial efforts taking place outside of the United States. Here are PDF versions of the presentations we gave during the conference.

I think the only major thing that has changed on mine during the past three weeks is that the Russian Angara rocket’s inaugural launch has…wait for it…slipped another year into 2014. That means the first test launch will now take place about 19 years after the Russian government approved the program.

I also might have misstated the timing of the first launch of the Ukrainian Cyclone 4 from Brazil. The slides says no earlier than 2015; a more recent reports I’ve seen says the end of next year. Given that development of that program began in 2002, the latter date is not implausible.
