    Looking at the scope, it’s clear it has a carbon fiber tube. The vanes mean it’s not Schmidt-Cassegrain but more likely a Ritchey-Chretien. I wonder if it’s a customized version this telescope made by Astronomy Technologies:

    which runs about $3-4K.
