The monthly Plane Crazy Saturday event will include Scaled Composites first ever Career Day with static displays of the White Knight and WhiteKnightTwo aircraft, a briefing on flying SpaceShipTwo, a competitive student robotics competition, and the GT Race Car Club on Runway 30. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, with the Voyager restaurant open at 8 a.m.
Scaled Career Day
Scaled Composites, LLC is having its first ever Career Day and will be opening its hangar doors to give job seekers of all backgrounds the chance to talk to our employees and see some of our unique aircraft. This is a chance for us to get to know you, for you to show us what you are passionate about, and for us to learn how you might fit into our company. Fly or drive out with a resume, examples of your work, bottled water, sun protection, and be ready to find out what it means to have “FUN” at work!

Competitive Robotics Event
Junior High and Senior High students who already demonstrate an aptitude for engineering will participate in the “scrimmage” competition. High schools from Tehachapi, Victorville, Lancaster and even Los Angeles will bring their robots for the competition. Jim Balentine, EKAD President has been asked to be a judge at the event.
