Congratulations are in order for Made in Space.
The Silicon Valley-based company flew its first 3-D printer in microgravity today aboard a ZERO G Corporation plane from Elligton Field in Texas. CEO and Co-founder Jason Dunn Tweeted:
The first #Made in Space parts have been successfully manufactured in zero gravity! Another fight this afternoon to build more parts!
The start-up company came out of the Singularity University summer session that was held last year.
