Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 7-8:30 PM PDT: Dr. Larry Kuznetz returns to share his space shuttle experiences with us. Dr. Kuznetz is a 40 year veteran of the space program with advanced degrees from Columbia University and the University of California, Berkeley. His PhD thesis, a computer model of human thermoregulation in spacesuits, was used to protect and guide astronauts on the lunar surface during the Apollo Program when he worked at NASA’s Mission Control Center and is still in use today.
