UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) invites you to participate in a dynamic seminar to learn about the latest developments in UK Space industry.
The UK space industry has gone through many exciting changes, which is presenting numerous commercial opportunities. By its nature, the space sector and supporting subsectors such as telecoms, GPS, integrated applications and robotics create large-scale international projects and contracts that could provide tremendous opportunity for US and UK business. This seminar will focus on these opportunities as well as provide more detailed information how to collaborate in target science areas and tap into R&D funding.
Focus areas include:
- Latest developments in UK space, including the newly functioning UK Space Agency
- Update on the Harwell International Space Innovation Center
- Presentations on the UK space industry, UK company capabilities and collaboration and partnership opportunities
- Overview of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and opportunities for joint research and collaboration
- A look at the US space environment by Space Florida

Previously the Chief Executive of the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC), and prior to that Head of UCLâ€™s Department of Space and Climate Physics and Director, Mullard Space Science Laboratory.
