Still at the forefront of aerospace innovations, the Mojave Air and Space Port is 100 percent occupied, and new tenants are on the horizon.The associated rail spur and industrial park operations continue.
On several occasions the control tower supported simultaneous operations involving rocket powered fixed wing craft, ground testing of new engines, conventional rotary and fixed wing general aviation and transport category and glider operations all at the same time. Airside operations numbers increased, with many days supporting as many as 16 aircraft operations simultaneously and there were as many as 385 operations in one twenty four hour period.
