Buzz Lightyear, star of the Pixar’s 1995 hit Toy Story and its aptly-named 1999 sequel, Toy Story 2, roared into orbit along with seven human colleagues. Buzz will be the centerpiece of an educational effort that will feature mission logs and other activities as part of the NASA Kids’ Club.
The Orlando Sentinel has a very cool picture of Buzz’s pal Woody waving goodbye to Discovery as it roars into orbit.
